Designer/Illustrator for Children's Mathematics textbooks (K-9)
Looking for a designer / illustrator for a series of children's mathematics textbooks. Responsibilities include: 1) Creating an attractive layout for the series 2) Laying out the content of the books (provided in handwriting and similar forms) 3) Adding attractive illustrations This is an ongoing long-term commitment. The successful candidate will have some experience in designing children's books and be able to produce very friendly and attractive layouts. Comfort with elementary mathematics is a plus. Also, since there are a lot of materials to be created (over 800 pages) the candidate must be comfortable with producing large volumes. We will considering hiring a professional illustrator to assist you in the project. Please submit examples of past work. Will pay by the hour or by the page. Please quote your expected hourly rate.
