Position Title: .NET Application Developer Job Duration: 12 Months+ (Contract) Tax Terms: W2 Job Overview: Candidates will be working development team for the Corporate Investments Technology organization in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities: Candidates will be responsible for developing .NET processes, components and applications in C# which utilize an Oracle database. Primary Skills: Mandatory Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft .NET APIs and associated technology with a minimum of 5 years C# development experience Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010 Strong working knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework Class Library Strong working knowledge of SQL and ADO.NET Strong working knowledge with relational databases preferably Oracle Strong understanding of the object-oriented paradigm and proper class design Experience with XML, Web Services, and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team Experience in Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, especially Agile methodologies Be proactive, a problem solver and work with minimum supervision when given a goal Excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical skills and a highly professional attitude are essential Preferred Skills: Knowledge of fixed income securities and capital markets experience is a plus.
