Working within their large, Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence team, you will work closely with the business and IT teams alike, ensuring that high quality data governance and standards are met and aligned with Business Rules. The role: Work closely with the Enterprise Architect, designing and deploying the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence roadmap, as agreed with senior business stakeholders. Manage, lead and influence a team of highly skilled ETL & Data Warehouse developers, taking responsibility for quality levels of development and support. Influence business users, improving the design, development and deployment of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions. Review the current BI/DW architecture, and suggest innovative new solutions to improve performance. Successfully manage a mixed team of contract and permanent staff, deploying resources to maximise productivity. Required skills and experience: Extensive experience working as a Solution Designer or Solution Architect within an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment. In-depth understanding of customer value through Business Intelligence solutions. Any experience working with Teradata is highly regarded, although not essential. Proven ability to lead and manage teams within a large corporate environment. Strong understanding of dimensional modelling and BI reporting. This is a business facing role. Therefore, the ability to present to and negotiate with senior business stakeholders is essential. This is a senior role within a huge organisation. It requires someone who can communicate with people from various parts of the business, and effectively negotiate and build relationships with them.
