Post to Google Speech API in .Net application
Create a WinForm application that submits audio to Google for speech recognition. Roughly follow steps described in: /2011/03/accessing-google-speech-api-chrome-11/ Use Case: Input: a recorded WMA file from Windows Sound Recorder (attached example). 1) Windows Form application, user selects an .wav audio file. WAV file will be created through basic 2) Convert the file to flax format. (see SoX; /Main/HomePage) 3) Post .flex file to Google speech API: /speech-api/v1/recognize 4) Parse JSON response and display utterance and confidence result in the WinForm (grid or textarea). Notes: C# preferred, but VB.net is acceptable. Dependency on SoX or FLAX is understood; either as a shell command call or a library inclusion. If that source code can be incorporated into this application, please let me know your recommendation (not required). This is a proof of concept and future projects may be created.
