Call C# Methods as a SQL Table-Valued Function
I have two C# projects that fully contain functionality to obtain information. Goal is have a specific method in each project invoked from through T-SQL and have it return data in the form of a recordset. I.e., from T-SQL: select * from dbo.GetCurrentEvents( @username, @password) Which would return a recordset. Where GetCurrentEvents is a method in a .NET class. If you are not familiar with this SQL capability, see: /en-us/library/ms131103.aspx --== Methods ==-- As I stated above, there are 2 projects that I want to expose as a SQL function; These are already programmed (see attached), however the top-level method will need to be programmed as well as some light cleanup work may need to be done. 1) Google Calendar (GoogleEventChecker.zip) Description: The calendar project has a method to obtains all the current Google calendar events. Input: email address, password. Output: recordset list of events 2) Google Chat, i.e.:Jabber (Jabber.zip). Method Description: Return the list of contacts and their current status. You will need to program this method as it doesn't exist, but the all functionality is available in the project. The majority of the code in this solution is not needed Input: email address, password. Output: recordset list of contacts and their status message Sorry if this sounds long winded. If you know/can figure out how to make a CLR method available to SQL; this should be cake. If you are confused, the attachment, CLR-Functions.doc, restates this description in different words. Wining bid will be selected in hours. This is task is anticipated to take under a single day task. Desired Skills: SQL, SQL Server, .NET, C# Keywords: Software Application, SQL, C#, .NET, Server
