Information and data entry assistant
Job Description Job Description We will give you a source of information (usually a website or primary information) and ask you to enter the data into a spreadsheet via microsoft excel using a particular format. He/she will also have to create URLs for images (instruction will be given on all of this). The data will then be uploaded by our team. We will then ask you to list items on our website. For that you will need to be able to find items in a huge catalogue and be able to make judgement calls if you're not certain of what an item is. The listing part also includes uploading images and data found on other websites. We are looking for someone who is quick, can follow instructions carefully and pay attention to detail. Before a contracter is selected he/she will be given a trial task where they will be asked to catalogue 2/3 items (instructions and a spreadsheet template will be given) If successful in the task you will be taken on. We currently have 9 oDesk contractors working for us. I'd like to stress that if you do not have a Skype account please create one. We prefer for our oDesk contractors to communicate via Skype whilst working on our task. This ensures better interactivity and effectiveness.
