Enterprise Information Management Analyst roles - high-level brief. Two analysts are required to work on the development of the Enterprise Information Framework The purpose of this is to: *Identify most "important" information *Asses the health of this information - how well the information is being managed against our Good Information Management Principles *Clarify ownership and risk appetite *Use this information to identify opportunities and target investment The focus of this work is to ensure that: *The right balance is struck between maximising the Business Value of information, conforming with our Information Obligations (compliance etc) and optimising for Efficiency & Effectiveness. *Risks are understood and managed correctly *Investment is targeted for maximum impact. The current team have developed an approach to this, and now resources are required to further develop the approach into a working repeatable process for gathering and analysing the data. The method will then be put into practice against a number of high-profile initiatives. The analyst will be required to *Contribute to the development of the method for identifying, acquiring and analysing the required information. *Contribute to the development of tools for visualisation and reporting of the framework. *Interface with business and IS leaders and experts to agree engagements *Run workshops to elicit information from business and IS representatives *Analyse the information gathered to identify root causes *Work with business and IS resources to explore opportunities and recommend actions *Review methods and improve as required Modis is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
