Payroll Data Input Clerk The Role The UK’s leading car park management company is looking for a Payroll Data Input Clerk to assist in the provision of a high quality comprehensive payroll service to the Regional Team ensuring that salaries are paid within the regulatory framework Specific responsibilities will include: · Managing the monthly payroll for the Region and ensure that it is checked by Managers prior to payroll being committed. · Building and maintaining excellent relationships with all colleagues and with the Payroll Provider (ADP). · Acting as the contact point for the Front Line colleagues and the Regional Management Team for all payroll related queries. · Liaising with line managers, third party associations and other stakeholders to ensure that effective external and internal relations are maintained · Maintaining a flexible approach when dealing with people matters and escalating issues of concern where necessary. · Processing payroll information in accordance with procedures, through completion of own work and through the coordination of the work of others which includes inputting and updating colleagues records on to the system and being the Regional ‘expert’. · Maintaining Front Line colleagues Personnel Files ensuring all files are up to date and completed. · Ensuring compliance with relevant quality and management standards, and company compliance procedures. · Contributing to the development and implementation of payroll projects to enable delivery of a quality service · Ensuring all laid down NCP processes are adhered to in relation to Customer Services and office management and where necessary suggesting improvements The Person Candidates for this position should have a g ood general level of education including GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to work independently, and with a good eye for detail. To be successful you will also need: Experience of providing statistical information Minimum of one years experience in a payroll related position in a successful team Experience of investigating enquiries and responding in a timely manner Customer service experience Experience of dealing effectively with all levels of staff and external clients The position is offering up to £19,300k and is based in Manchester.
