Google Maps - is a postcode within a polygon? ASP.NET
Hi, I'm an asp.net developer & need to be able to work out on the fly if a uk postcode is within a pre-defined google maps polygon. It's for a takeaway food ordering application & this will determine if a customer is within delivery range or not. So the (possibly irregular) delivery area is defined by a set of points on a map like this .. /Map.aspx .. the polygon points are in long, lat format. ... & I want to within my code take a postcode supplied by a hungry customer & throw it at a function that returns a boolean (inside or outside the polygon) I have a postcode database that will give me the long, lat of any given UK postcode (although it would be nice to get this info from the google maps api if such geocoding is possible) ... & I know the coordinates that make up the polygon ... BUT i need someone to work out the code needed to determine if the postcode falls within the polygon. Thanks. Desired Skills: ASP.NET, Google Maps Keywords: Web Programming, Map, Google, ASP.NET
