This role is a mixture of hands on development, standards development, team skills development and the management of a small but busy team of Analysts / Developers.   There is a particular emphasis on your ability to work with Senior Project Sponsors and Managers within the business, to ensure there is ongoing commitment to business projects and these commitments are met throughout the project lifecycle.   As a confident communicator and with good interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will be experienced in the day-to-day management of a project team of Development Analysts / Officers; setting staff with personal objectives, monitoring performances and conducting appraisals. You will have good application development skills using; .NET, VB, C#, XML / XSLT, web services, SQL and sound development standards to assist team members to improve their skills.   While formal qualifications are not essential, a recognised qualification in project management such as Prince II would be an advantage coupled with skills in Lagan CRM configuration / scripting and / or use of NDL AWI integration tool.   This is a Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd vacancy who are operating as an employment agency.
