DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR - SQL SERVER
dba, sybase, sql server, windows, unix, oracle, integration, reporting, analysis, stored procedures, scripting SQL Server DBA for a principal role in a leading investment bank. Must have SQL Server 2008 & 2005, Sybase, Windows and Unix. Oracle would be a bonus. Exp of implementing and managing a large number of databases, implementing change / incident / security management procedures within database environments, provide production and development support, back up & recovery, performance analysis, data management, database connectivity using ODBC, JDBC. Current exp of SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services and Analysis Services essential. Programming exp to incl T-SQL, stored procedures, unix scripting, Windows XP & Server 2003/2008.
