9 month attachment / fixed term contract – part time, 3 days per week job share   Communications supports the BBC's strategic agenda by defending and enhancing the Corporation's reputation. Through press, publicity and corporate affairs, the team helps win internal and external support for the BBC's strategic choices.   You'll support the BBC3 Comedy & Entertainment Communication team in providing 360 degree communications support for BBC3 Comedy & Entertainment. This will involve planning and executing proactive publicity campaigns across traditional and digital media, identifying and managing reputational issues and crises, managing on-air talent, production executives and independent publicists, and working within a priority-based publicity, and will also lead publicity on agreed projects.   With experience in publicity or public relations, you'll have a good understanding of the media environment and the news gathering process both in radio, television and print.  You'll have a good news sense and be able to write crisp, clear and lively press releases and copy.  We're looking for someone with a really good understanding and experience of tv publicity and a passion for comedy and entertainment programming.   To apply, please click here to be redirected to the BBC website.   Closing date: 13 February 2012.
