'Electronic Product Enclosures Design Engineer' required for work in Chippenham My client, at the forefront of the Rail industry, are consistently developing and surpassing current industry standards. Due to continued commercial growth and success they are currently recruiting for a Electronic Product Enclosures Design Engineer', based in Chippenham for the design of innovative new enclosures and frameworks, for electronic equipment for use on board locomotives Key Duties • Mechanical design of product enclosures for train-carried use • Use of SolidWorks 3D mechanical CAE design tools • Production of mechanical drawings to company Rail standards Essential Requirements • Experience in relevant design posts producing industrial electronic equipment • Experienced in use of SolidWorks CAD/CAE tools for mechanical design • Experienced in designing for harsh environments • Understanding of designing to meet EMC requirements • Able to work effectively in a team • Good PC skills including use of MS Office tools This contract will run for a minimum of 13 weeks initially and for your efforts and services you will be rewarded with a competitive rate of pay and a stable workload in the current economic climate.
