Our Client, the world's leader in global business and financial information based in New York City, is seeking experienced iOS Developers to join their team on a contract to hire basis.  Proven developers with noted Computer Science background are required.  The applications develped here are currently ranked as world-class and are required to uphold and advance this caliber.  Developers must comprehend, appreciate and be able to develop to the memory level in order to create these high performance applications.  Selected candidates will join a small team in growth mode.  The environment is highly collaborative, qualitative and intense.  The audience reach with the applications is vast and growing and the infrastructure supporting this technology driven organization is all new, with no walls.  Current applications are all averaging 4.5 stars with no exceptions.    Excellent device-side iOS programming skills and a good understanding of UI design are essential. The ideal candidate would have experience implementing iPhone and iPad applications with highly customized and innovative user interfaces. They would also create and maintain the services that provide data. Candidates should have a passion for technology and a flexible, creative approach to problem solving. They should be able to take ownership of business requirements and devise and develop solutions that meet customer needs. Time to market is critical. They must be able to liaise closely with other teams to ensure a quality `look & feel for all our applications, devising innovative solutions that reflect our Client's brand identity while making the most of the platforms unique features. Day to day tasks will involve the development and integration of new applications and enhancements, and working on projects to improve the stability of our existing software.
