Concept design of assemblies and components using 3D Cad through to detail design and drawings. Creation of assembly instructions. Required Experience: Essential ¿ Mechanical based apprenticeship to HNC level with 4 years experience or Degree and 2 years experience. ¿ Experience of ProE and/or Solid Works and good IT skills. ¿ Appreciation of other disciplines (e.g. Electrical/Electronic/Optical) effect on Mechanical Design. ¿ Good working knowledge of MRP and PLM Systems (SAP & Agile useful) ¿ Experience of working closely with suppliers at the early stages of development programs. ¿ Design for assembly and manufacture. ¿ Be able Transfer concept alpha design through to full manufacture.
