*Please read to the end before applying. We are a Content Supplying Group which works mostly with publications for ESL, EFL overseas training materials. They order sample training materials for their textbook and workbooks. We need writers to fill these orders for us. We prefer writers near the GMT +9 timezone at this time. *You should not think ESL learning material. They are samples of University-level work and require quality academic research and writing. This posting is for a month-long project (which can be extended indefinitely) where the chosen writer will be given projects throughout the course of term. Some are short while others are longer. Work and payment will be added to the milestones as they are sent out, accepted, and assigned to the writer through the Elance Workroom. Our normal payment rate is at $10 per 300 words. Sample work process: 1. Provider (writer) will start with a $50 final payment escrow. *This is not a guarantee or service fee. It is simply the lowest amount allowable with Elance (Our busiest writers take upto $600 monthly) 2. Work for that amount will be given by us and filled by the provider (checkpoints and deadline established through messages and milestones) 3. Details for a new project (ex. for $20) are sent to provider through message in the Workroom 4. Provider accepts project 5. We verify begin, checkpoints, and deadline of new project 6. New milestones are added with funds to match new project (ex. + $20) 7. Provider completes project according to details (including necessary revisions within timeline) 8. #3 to #7 repeats for one month (ex. additional $50) 9. Payment for projects are released to provider in bunches (ex. total of $120) Since many of our project are VERY time sensitive and publishers will cancel a project if it is late or below standards, writers MUST follow the details EXACTLY and keep ALL milestones and deadlines to the HOUR (E.S.T). All project will have 1,2 milestones for a set amount. Failure to keep milestones and/or deadlines will result in decrease of payment or cancellation of project and full payment. We hold the right to cancel any and all projects for which communication is broken with a provider for more than 6 hours (If a provider does not answer after being late with a milestone). We do not want this as well since that just means more work for us. Communication is very important with us. We also hold the right to charge provider for the amount required to make up any project canceled due to provider fault (payment for this charge will be taken from escrow for other projects completed). Termination of complete hiring term and payment may occur in cases in which the provider causes harm to our business. Our publishers require perfect grammar and spelling as well as detailed understanding of the various styles of writing such as MLA, APA, Harvard, Chicago, Turabian, etc. Most of our writing is for ESL students; therefore, it requires simple, clear writing without useless filler and/or difficult words as well as complex sentences. Expected levels of writing will be notified. We especially need writers who can keep in touch with us so that we can give out rushed/emergency projects. We get many projects that are rushed and these will be notified to more than one provider at once. Whoever answers first usually gets the job. Providers who provide good work will be asked to continue their work with us through a renewed monthly project.
