We are currently looking to hire for one of our clients. Duration: 4-6 months Description: - The candidate is responsible for two areas: Major Incident Handing and Problem Management Functions Major incidents: - The candidate assembles and coordinates cross functional IT teams and insures rapid and stable service restoration. - During this period the candidate must also document the incident, and provide periodic business updates, Problem Management Functions: - Provide incident analysis and trend reporting . - Meet with technical areas to develop plans to remove recurring errors from the computing environment. - Document major incident tickets, problem records, problem tasks and known errors. - Conduct follow up on open items. Required Skills: - Candidate must be technical, analytical, business focused, able to synthesize technical information into business communications, and communicate with multiple levels in the organization. - Formal training / certification preferred in: data networking, server hardware and operating systems such as Windows Unix, Linux, HP Open View, SQL, and Cisco. - Minimum of 4 to 6 years in a technical support role involving direct customer and management interface. - Demonstrated ability to synthesize technical information into written business communications to include but not limited to: service outages, daily reports, executive summaries, and metric and analysis reporting. - Ability to use MS Office Suite, reporting packages, drawing packages, i.e.: Visio, and Crystal Satyen Sanghavi Sr. Recruiter Iconma Ph: (815) 355-8212 Fax: (800) 489-8046 or (248) 583-1929 Email: satyen@iconma.com
