Production Company Seeks Behind the Scenes Designers For Series Are you a design blog fanatic obsessed with the latest trends in interior design, furniture, and home accessories? We are currently casting for Behind the Scenes Designer positions for a new, budget-minded decorating series on a major cable network. Duties will include but not be limited to: -Meeting with the homeowner(s) at their home and interview them about their preferences, design style, and desires for the new space. -Developing a design plan for the area working within the budget determined by the Producer. -Collaborating with Producer and Design Host on revisions, additions, etc. to the plan. -Coming up with 3-5 creative design projects for the new design (i.e. repurposing an item, creative shelving, dining table, wall art, etc.,) -Submitting a Cad (or similar) drawing of plan, including written descriptions that will be sent to the network for review. -Being responsible for propping out the space for the "Afters" with the supplied prop budget and coordinate any shopping for items with our Design Assistants.
