Purpose of Job: Responsible for a variety of web design projects, including creation of custom graphics, web banners, designing the overall customer experience for web sites and applications, navigation flow, layout of specific pages and some web photography. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Design, create and implement original creative design for web sites - Create web page layouts and components - Create and finalize technically accurate art files - Create custom photography for use on the web in our in-house photo studio - Follow all Claire's procedures for web site maintenance - Design web banners and advertising - Communicate and provide guidance to departmental designers assisting on web designs - Ensure all translations accurately maintain graphic integrity of web site - Meet all production target dates - Maintain departmental files on server - Help create and maintain web updates Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or equivalent professional art degree - 3+ years web design experience and graphic design experience - Strong oral and written communication skills - Conceptual to completion project management experience - Proven ability to manage mulitple projects concurrently across different resources - Proficency with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash. Some Dreamweaver preferred
