They are an award winning, rapidly growing innovator of student response systems, and an industry leader in assessment and content software and whiteboard technology. They currently hold 22% of their market share and have an aggressive growth plan. Job Description/Major Responsibilities: Responsible for sales of educational technology products into Higher Education colleges and universities. Drive sales opportunities within the assigned territories and accounts. Understand the clients’ educational challenges and demonstrate how the educational products and Coordinate the implementation of business development activities within the region (e.g. trade shows, product training and regional workshops). Achieve defined sales objectives. Maintain pipeline of forecasted opportunities. Ensure customer satisfaction with responsive account management. Requirements Required Skills and Experience: 2+ years of experience in technology sales Knowledge of Higher Education funding sources. Proven success selling into the Higher Education market (educational technology, educational software or curriculum/curriculum software). Proven success in solution based selling techniques. Must have a track record of achieving assigned quotas, leading coordination of and responding to complex proposals. Highly articulate, solid communicator and fast learner. Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills. Energetic, self-starter with strong work ethic and excellent track record of success required. Compensation: Competitive Commission structure with monthly draw.
