Description: - Years Experience: 3-5 years. - Client is seeking an experienced individual who can hit the ground running and be productive with minimal guidance in their Transmission Engineering department. - This individual will work as a member of the Transmission Protection & Controls, Substation and Line Departments. - electrical drafting experience ( electrical schematic and wiring drafting) - Substation arrangement plan and section drawings and bill of material detail drafting. - Land Survey drafting. - Understanding the use and proper application of paper space and model space. - Ability to readily work with raster files, including scaling. - Modify AutoCAD drawings to include current borders and title blocks. - Manipulate scanned drawings (tif files) onto current borders and NU title blocks - Populate title blocks and assign NU drawing numbers for all drawings. - Migrate drawings into ADEPT and create associated library cards and drawing transmittals.   Required Skills: - Working knowledge of industry accepted drafting standards, symbols, and methods. - Strong capability and technical depth utilizing AutoCad 2011 software. - Experience with drawing tif files, raster editing, and file manipulation/scaling. - Experience with drawing file management software and associated control processes. - Must be able to work in an environment with shifting schedules and priorities. - AutoCad Civil/3D experience is required .   Education: - Bachelor's Degree.
