Technical Writer - £180 - £205 - Cambridge - 3 Months Our client a global cloud solutions provider has a Technical Writer position. The reason for this role is because the project surrounds the Common Criteria Certification which enables the sales of XenDesktop + XenServers in security conscious customer environments, primarily National & Federal Government agencies. The certification must be achieved within the next few months. This is a documentation heavy project. The Role: Experienced Technical Writer. DocBook XML If candidates have no experience using DocBook, candidate must have strong experience with another flavour of XML (e.g. DITA) and the ability to pick up a new syntax very quickly. Documents are prepared using Oxygen XML Author and delivered as PDF. Although other writers will be able to support and assist the candidate - it is imperative that the candidate is comfortable mostly working alone. Must have experience with modifying xml *.ent files (used for creating variables) and creating cross-references between PDFs using Experience working on a Common Criteria or similar project. Must be experienced working alongside developers and QA.
