Job Description: We need a strong PM to drive 2 major projects for this group currently with more projects following: 1. A massive worldwide training rollout which will touch at least 3,000 users across 88 different areas around the globe. Take ownership for project success; coordinate logistics for various groups in various locales around the world. 2. Provide Pre-sales advance support for industry specific tradeshows. Tradeshows include but are not limited to CISCO Live, Oracle OpenWorld, EMC World, VMWorld, VMWorld Europe. These tradeshows offer hands on lab experiences for over 200 seat audiences which involve massive coordination to ensure final success. Assists cross-functional team(s) of subject matter experts who plan and implement business projects in the Pre-Sales Organization. Responsibilities may include developing project plans and updating, running project end reviews (lessons learned), creating presentations, developing communications and communicating cross-functionally both internally and externally, overseeing the execution of various aspects of a program or specific projects. ` Develops and documents processes, procedures and/or materials in conjunction with projects/programs. ` Prepares and conducts presentations and communication to a variety of audiences, both internally and externally. ` Create and/or prepare standard or ad-hoc reports in support of project/program information requirements. ` May utilize a variety of technologies (database, web, etc.) in the execution and support of project/program plans, milestones and deliverables. Education/ Experience Required or Desired: * BA or BS preferred * STRONG Project Manager Skills, PMP Certification A Plus ` IT PM experience desired, preferably with International Training Rollouts ` Exposure to storage a major plus Requisition Justification: With the new reorg of Presales and the onboarding of Ionix colleagues, some have left the team; it is critical we have a strong PM onboard asap to help manage major projects. This Pre-Sales team touches on any customer who has EMC & VMWare helping evangelize EMC products to the Client client market.
