We are looking to recruit Life Skills Instructors to work with young adults within a college environment in Hanley Swan Worcestershire. The College provides specialist services for people with autistic spectrum disorders, behavioural, emotional and social difficulties and associated complex needs. Adult life preparation services are offered to support young people aged 15 . Applicants will hold a minimum of Level 2 in Social Care and have at least 6 months experience in a similar role be reference checked and hold a current CRB. Duties will include daily life activities such as going on walks, shopping, Horse Riding and going out to meals and many more. No working day will be the same this is a very varied job role. It would be desirable that you would have carried out training by Price but this is not essential as there may be opportunities on site to participate in training. The client has requested that you do hold medication training and safeguarding certificates. An enhanced current CRB check is required Backup Staff can process candidates CRB checks if required. This is an active and highly rewarding career choice with great prospects for the right candidates. Working hours are 12 hour shifts which are worked to cover 24 hours. Shifts are carried out on early, late and night shifts covering Monday to Friday and weekends. Rate of pay is between 7.00 - 7.82 per hour.
