Functions: Perform and lead processes related to testing activities for new software development systems and applications Be responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications Serve as a mentor to lower level testing analysts and may provide work direction to others in project team(s) You may provide supervision to direct reports including performance management and associate development Work independently to define, manage, and complete activities Knowledge of the software testing discipline and its integration with software development life cycle Track and develop metrics for testing Go to the extent that it is reasonable; go the 'extra mile' to make sure that each individual's needs are met Tailor the information to appeal to the level and interest of others Outline potential cost / savings outcomes of technology use Bilingual Canadian French is required! The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Experience implementing testing processes/methodology in large, complex, diversified, and global organizations Experience with all types of major system development and deployment projects, especially using COTS solutions Experience with Facilitation, Database Testing, Test Automation, Performance Testing, Data Driven Testing, IT Structured Software Testing, TestDirector, QTP, Testing Specialized, WinRunner, LoadRunner, and QTP Acquire knowledge of the customer's business in assigned area and industry Must possess strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Must possess strong written and oral communication skills Must understands how the IT Group operates and how his/her role meets customer needs and creates value Must be able to identify opportunities or problems and act quickly and decisively to respond to the situation Must take initiative to work on challenging or 'stretch' work assignments A Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent
