Job Description integrate a C-API for a propritery system into a Node.JS API -- The API is currently used in command line programs which we will use as examples and specification of the equivalent Node.JS -- I have attached two files in example.tgz. The Task is to create a Dynamic Link Library using the C++ capability to call C/C++. So for the kdssvolumeinfo, I expect to be able to call the function from Node.JS and get an array-object back like; [{voloume:"somename",instance:"abcd",freeblocks:1234, etc etc},etc] and for kdssaddmetadata, I expect to be able to call with a signature something like; kdssaddmetadata(schemaname,tablename,{key1:value1,key2:value2,...}, callback) There are about 30 APIs which need to be converted, and for each we ill need to, -- Create a Async and Sync interface. -- Create a Unit test for the API -- Create a package (using node standards) I will be providing a running Amazon instance with the software for the purpose of testing, and we will use github to exchange developed code. In you proposal, I would like to see examples of node.js C/C++ bindings you have done, as well as a estimate what it would take to build the interface for the two provided examples.
