Plans plant, office and production equipment layouts for economy of operation and maximum use of facilities and equipment. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs. Develops criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment. Subject matter expert with demonstrated knowledge of semiconductor Vacuum Pumps ( Ebara, Edwards, Busch), Process Abatement equipment ( Edwards, DAS), and SubFab Support systems ( process exhaust management, EMO / equipment interlocks) within a semiconductor cleanroom environment. KNOWLEDGE: Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel. EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Demonstrated expertise in semiconductor vacuum pump applications.  Work experience managing or supervisor level experience  in a production semiconductor setting supporting process tool vacuum pump equipment and SubFab equipment. - Oversee vacuum pump vendors, equipment maintenance & rebuild, and coordinate all Tool/SubFab vacuum pump & abatement work. - Coordinate CFD Tool SubFab Vacuum & Abatement equipment improvements and maintenance tasks reduce down time. - Achieve cost reduction thru applying inventory management, driving down vacuum pump repair cycle times, and aligning on-hand vacuum pump spares with high priority tool vacuum requirements. This is an ongoing long term contract with potential to be a temp to hire opportunity.
