Great company on the Westside has an immediate need for a Sales Assistant. This is a temporary to hire position and reports to the VP of Sales. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Major Responsibilities: Manage a large volume of clerical sales duties related to catalogs, samples, sales leads, and basic customer communication including some telemarketing Prepare setup documents for key accounts, including data entry/management on vendor websites Work closely with the Customer Service team daily and on projects, ensuring strong communication, customer satisfaction and solid relationships with sales representatives Assist VP, Sales and NSM with special projects including analysis and reporting Assist with sales support to international customers Assist with trade show prep (paperwork, communication, samples, etc.) Assist with trade show setup on location as needed (some travel may be required) Requirements: Bachelor?s degree or commensurate experience 5 years sales and/or customer service experience Proficiency in MS Office suite; experience with Excel and Word required Experience with Crystal and/or MAS90 a plus Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and follow-up skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and a high volume workload Strong analytical and math skills Must be reliable and punctual with a good work ethic Must be a proven self-starter and highly motivated to grow with the position and the company Excellent people skills, friendly personality and sense of humor are critical Ability to work in a fast-paced and somewhat stressful environment, with periodic crunches for deadlines Ability to develop a strong team relationship with coworkers Ability to travel domestically up to 4 times per year for tradeshows/appointments Job Experience: More than 5 years About Ajilon Professional Staffing Ajilon Professional Staffing is a leader in temporary and permanent recruitment services with offices across North America.
