The Associate Financial Analyst position will work closely with the Sr. Finance and Planning Manager for Infrastructure and Global Operations to provide overall budgetary support for period close results and to create necessary shopping carts, PO's, accruals, and cross-charges in support of client IT teams. This Analyst will partner with the senior FP&A specialist in preparation of period forecasts and the Annual Operation Plan (AOP), and perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting. This position is located in Plano, Texas. Key accountabilities include: Support assigned portions of the Infrastructure and Global Operations teams financially Partner with assigned project managers and Accounting Services to assist in delivering required accruals, cross-charges, and associated backup materials in support of period close and year end activities Creation of shopping carts for PO's, invoice processing (GR/IR), and associated reconciliations in SAP for client teams G/A and function funded forecast development and reviews with project managers and FP/A management Tracking of labor, software, and hardware expenditures at a detailed level Ad hoc project delivery and analysis assignments Exceptional customer service to IT business partners Compiles and analyzes financial information for an organization Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts Specific Requirements (required unless noted otherwise): Bachelor's degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) 2 - 4 years of finance and / or accounting experience SAP experience preferred Essbase experience preferred Strong technical and analytical skills Strong Excel skills Excellent communication skills Organized and detail oriented Self-starter who demonstrates leadership skills and takes initiative Willingness and a 'can do' attitude
