Instructional Designer
The Instructional Designer / E-Learner role in Louisville, Kentucky involves the following responsibilities: Using instructional design techniques, design and develop end user materials to include concept materials, job aids, simulations, assessments, and eLearning courseware (emphasis on eLearning development) Responsible for new content development, to be used in end-user materials Develop eLearning content (fully interactive, self-paced end user training courseware) Work in collaborative work environment Work with business units to identify learning objectives Utilize department standards and development methodology to create end-user materials Develop effective training materials to ensure transfer of knowledge and skills The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include (items are required unless noted otherwise): Experienced with the development of instructional or end user curriculum including material deliverables Hands-on experience with development of training content Excellent written and verbal communication skills E-Learning development experience including design, development, and deploy training content Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Basic knowledge of graphic manipulation software and simulation software Strong instructional design background (at least 1 year of ID experience, preferably 3-5 years) Knowledge of additional software packages including LMS applications, is a plus Capable of working independently and self-managing workload Working knowledge of the Principles of Adult Learning
