Tester (Automation, Java, Web Services) - North West - £150-250 My client is a leading consultancy based in the North West of England and they have a new opportunity for experienced Testers with Automated testing experience. The company is enjoying a period of growth after winning key accounts with a number of high profile clients. In this role you will work on client site of a large pharmaceutical client working on a key project involving the integration of a third party product as a global solution for storage within the company. The role will involve a third party product that will be tested via its api's including a web based GUI and interfacing via web services. This will be a complex and involved task including detailed configuration setup for testing, test definitions and test execution. For some components it is most likely that an automated testing approach is required to enable comprehensive regression testing and for other components a scripting based approach may be needed. Essential Skills: 5+ years testing modern multi tier systems Automated Testing tools experience suitable for testing web services Java systems experience Excellent spoken & written English Communication and teamwork skills Desirable: Web Services Oracle & TOAD This is a 6 month contract opportunity with excellent extension possibilities.
