Job Description Hello, We have an existing Android application for which I need to introduce changes, and fix existing bugs. The application collects data entered by users using on-screen forms, maps, images, and audio, displays it in a map, and interact with a website through an API (written in PHP). This is going live soon, so I need someone that can produce excellent, tested code with a short turnaround, someone that will spot errors in the design, and that is not afraid to ask for more information if a requirement is not clear. The project is hosted in Github, and you need to have experience using it. Commits and push need to come naturally to you. Ideally you will work in one issue at a time, and commit accordingly. You need to be used to this type of development. Just to clarify, I am looking for an experienced Android developer. If you are just curious or you are just starting out, do not have published applications, or you lack experience with maps, geolocation, network and GPS-based location, images, and audio, then please save your time and mine and do not apply. We can do this on an hourly basis or as a fixed-fee, based on a set of requirements that can be tied to milestones.Fixed-fee is strongly preferred, at least until we get to know each other. If fixed-fee, do not mind the number set for the project, and give me your estimate. oDesk forces me to set a number, and that's why it's there. If hourly, we will need to agree on how to evaluate your performance. As you can imagine, it is really hard to evaluate candidates, so try to let me know how can I see, quickly, your value.
