Denny, My name is Tom Nagle, and I live in Wilmington, Delaware. I want to learn some basic programming, and I thought I'd start with Ruby on Rails. I don't know anything about programming. I'm on a Mac. I'm looking for a pro to simply help me get everything set up on my computer - remotely (of course). I've spent the last six hours simply trying to set my machine with Ruby on Rails. I've installed Developer Tools, but I can't seem to get Homebrew, Git, Ruby, MySQL, RVM, Ruby, and Rails to work...at all. I realize that figuring this stuff out is part of the learning process - but I've always done better with a teacher/coach. I've tried following three different tutorials, but I keep getting errors. Is this something you'd be interested in doing? Any suggestions if you can't help? Please feel to ask any questions.
