Our Seattle-based Client has an excellent opportunity available and is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to join their team. This is a contract position with our Client. Position Description Two projects involved in updating our .com FAQ/Contact Us capabilities to leverage content from an existing knowledge base maintained by our customer contact center. Both projects require development by our internal web engineering team and coordination with third party service providers. The engagement is for a project manager with solid PM skills and quantifiable experience implementing .com components at a Fortune 500 company. The PM would be managing two projects estimated at a * time allocation per project. Position Responsibilities (include, but not limited to the following): 1. Schedule development, including maintaining schedules, project plans and milestones 2. Management of web based delivery either through a more traditional waterfall approach or iterative/Agile delivery via sprints 3. Prepare, maintain and report project status; conduct team meetings and/or standups 4. Project budget management, including capital and expense cost tracking, labor estimation, budget forecasting and accrual processes 5. Resource coordination within a highly-matrixed organization, project team member assignments and time reporting oversight 6. Collaboration with cross functional stakeholders and sponsors 7. Actively identify, report, escalate and resolve risks and issues 8. Coordinate with IT PMO for project framework and PMO process adherence 9. Participate in applicable meetings and program activities 10. Drive delivery to established project milestones 11. Presentations to stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to vice president level Skills Required: 1. Web/.com Project Manager, with 7+ years of IT project management experience 2. Proven leadership and delivery of business critical .com initiatives 3. Must have experience managing iterative/Agile projects 4. Must be a hands-on project manager who can lead as well as manage a project directly. Must be willing and capable of creating project management deliverables such as schedules, burn down charts, plans, status reports, risk/issues log, lessons learned, and so on without significant direction from the technical team 5. Must have proven expertise managing multiple tracks (or sub-projects) at one time using *lead* personnel 6. Demonstrated ability to balance the right PM practices and tools to deliver the required project and product deliverables 7. Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences and across all levels of management 8. Must be able to navigate effectively through ambiguous situations 9. Superior time management and organization skills to drive towards aggressive delivery targets 10. Well-rounded knowledge customer contact center solutions is preferred 11. Experience with Team Foundation Server is a plus, but not required 12. Experience with Microsoft Project 2007 or 2010 is required. Experience with Microsoft Project Server 2010 (also sometimes known as *EPM*) is a plus, but not required.
