My name is Mike, I am with Hurricane Cargo. We manufacture cargo trailers in s, Ga and send them all over the country. I just got new ERP/MRP software in which data is written to msql...on my newer model dell server. This software runs our sales, manufacturing plant..ect. As our trailers are being built on the production line...each department scans in the work-order. This updates our queries on our computers showing our employees the status of the workorders. ie which department is working on the trailer and which ones have completed there work. We receive about 9000 calls per month with customers asking the status of there trailer. We would like a page added to our website...this page will function as follows The page will contain a grid of information. each column with a frozen header will have a lable explaining what that data field is. Like an excell doc. There will be approximatley 10 columns of data pulled from our database. Each row will contain the vin number of another trailer that is ordered but not yet delivered to the customer. They will be in order by the vin number of the trailer... A log in will be needed to get into the page....the username will be the vin number of the trailer....the password will be the same for all accounts...We should be able to create muiltiple username and passwords so that we can change them occassionally to keep competitors out. A second page will be created with a different set of data to be accessed by our shiping companies... each time a person logs into one of the pages it should pull real time current data from the server... A bit of cosmetic or graphics work will be needed for the first page as it will be for our retail customer and I would like it to have a few custom icon/cartoon like images to help illustrate what the data means We will proved the data fields and access to the server and software.....we will provide access to our web host as needed to be aboe to design and add the pages to our site....The site is written in magento..however I dont know or care what the pages are written in... I am looking for a great web developer to work on a host of other projects and this will be a test project for the person we hire. Looking for functionality but a nice look as well. The website that this will be associated with is any question please advise. the software on our server is I am not an expert so once the project is awarded to someone we will give you an email address for our designer at seradex to get help with where to get the data..ect..
