Service Desk / desktop support Fantastic Opportunity Work within a supportive team Immediate Start Corporate Information Systems (CIS) provides Quality Managed IT Services to medium and large organisations by understanding and partnering with the IT department. This position is an important customer facing role within the IT department and requires the person to respond to the needs of a diverse customer base across a wide geographical region. An approachable and professional manner is expected at all times, with a systematic approach to problem solving. Necessary Skills & Experience: * Relevant Tertiary Qualification & or Microsoft Qualifications * Experience in an ITIL Service Desk environment for large global matrix organisation * Experience working in a customer service role, with a demonstrated understanding of how to balance the requirements of the direct customer and the broader business. * Demonstrate competence in the support of desktop computers operating on the following platforms: Microsoft Windows/Intel, IBM iSeries, TCP/IP. * Demonstrate competence in the support of Apple Mac computers. * Some lifting of personal computers, monitors and printers will be required. Exceptional customer service, planning and organizational skills are a given requirement. You must be a good team player, who is able to work with minimal supervision. You must also have sound problem solving skills. The successful candidate must have their own car and driver’s license as there will be travel between 2 locations.
