SKILLS REQUIRED: -5 years of progressive experience working in a software testing/quality assurance environment. -3 years of project management experience. -Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of study or an equivalent combination of education and software testing related experience. -Experience with Project Management tools: MS Project and Primavera. -Demonstrated understanding and proficiency in one or more of the following: -Excellent knowledge of formal testing methodology, strategy and testing tools -Understanding of corporate change management principles (mainframe, distributed , and web based applications) with emphasis on testing and migration of changes from testing to production -Strong understanding of enterprise architecture -Excellent knowledge of SDLC and project management. Skills and Abilities -Strong written and oral communications -Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language -Ability to plan and manage the testing effort: 1) creating the WBS, 2) sequencing the activities, 3) estimating the effort at the task level, and 4) identifying dependencies. -Aptitude for creating top-down and bottom-up estimations. -Ability to coordinate the tactical execution of a test plan. -Experience in building/maintaining business relationships. -Experience in leading and managing matrixed teams, including geographically dispersed staff and global resources. -Demonstrated ability to develop test plans for moderately complex projects/programs. The successful candidate will: -Conduct and execute quality assurance activities required for testing new software configurations and functionality before installation into the companys production environment. -Identify and track quality assurance performance measures. -Define and implement testing processes and technical improvements that increase the quality of the products that are delivered into production. -Perform quality audits to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed. -Through testing ensure information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. -Works closely with developers, system teams, administrators and vendors in area of problem resolution. -Plan, design, build/develop, execute and support quality assurance activities (i.e. Test Release Planning, Test Design & Execution, Performance Test and Automation, Test Data Management) required for testing software configurations and functionality before installation into the Our company production environment. -Responsible for independently identifying areas for potential production application outages and providing the business with various mitigation and remediation strategies that will allow for the facilitation, tracking and closure of defects and performance issues prior to deployment. -Additionally, work with other teammates to facilitate and plan initiatives, oversee the portfolio of projects and support activities as it relates to testing and quality. -Defines strategies, processes and direction for the testing discipline. -Maintains relationships with internal and external partners to ensure the delivered services meet the needs of the stakeholders.
