SAP BI/BOBJ Developer
Description: The successful candidate will take a key role in the ongoing development and expansion of the SAP BI solutions within the group. RESPONSIBILITIES: a) Work with end-users to define reporting requirements, convert requirements into functional specifications and assess fit with business content to determine design. b) Implement SAP BI Content across new SAP functional areas, and non-SAP sources as required. c) Develop queries for deployment via Enterprise Portal based on design requirements. d) Documentation of all aspects of design and build in accordance with the required standards. e) Seamless integration of all solutions into the existing Enterprise Data Warehouse. ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: -Strong technical and functional knowledge of SQL Server 2008, framework modeling, OLAP, and SAP Business Intelligence tools. -Models and builds SAP BI Info cube's star schema to deliver complex reports. -Designs and builds SAP Info cubes, Data store objects using Data Warehouse Workbench. -Develop and enhance SAP BI application software to meet new business requirements. Participates in the design of new technical solutions based upon business requirements. a) An IT related degree or equivalent qualifications preferred. b) Expertise in business intelligence tools Analyzers / Query Designers/ Report designers and web application designers (creating queries, work books and web templates). c) Excellent MS Excel and Access knowledge and expertise in formal data methodologies. d) Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to work to tight schedules. e) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: a) Knowledge of SAP with understanding of SAP Processes. b) Visual Basic
