Data Entry into Excel for Product Catalog Imports
We are a new tile retail company and have been creating individual Excel spreadsheets for each of our Vendors, to then import into our Software that we use for the business. Your job will only be to create these spreadsheets using the provided Excel template (see attachment). The information from each vendor will either be provided as a PDF, EXCEL, or scanned documents. There are about 15 vendors total, however we will start with 2-3 vendors and go from there. This should be done on a by-the-hour basis due to the fact that each vendor has different amounts of information, as well as the fact that depending on how difficult it is to transfer the info into Excel may add time to the task. You will need to look at a Vendor's Price List and then evaluate & maybe rearrange the info so that it fits into the necessary template. I've attached 1. Pacific Excel Template, which is the starting point for each spreadsheet. 2. Allstone Product Catalog to show you what a completed Product Catalog spreadsheet will look like, and 3. Ideal Tile Price Book which is the first Vendor for this job and it is where you will get the information you will need to transfer over to the new spreadsheet. If you open the Allstone Product Catalog, you will see that columns H, I, M & N (all the COLOR related columns) MUST BE PUT ON THE ROW JUST BELOW ALL THE OTHER INFORMATION FOR THAT PRODUCT. The software that we are using requires the original & private color names and color numbers to be on the 2nd line. If different colors have a different cost, then the product line (1st line) cost is left blank and each corresponding cost goes on the color line. If all colors are the same cost, then you put the cost on every line within that product. Another part of this task that YOU WILL NOT COMPLETE -- All of the Private fields will be done by us. Therefore you will only fill in columns A-I and Q-V. Product Type will always be TILE, while the TYPE will always be the material of the tile (limited to simple CERAMIC, PORCELAIN, STONE, GLASS, METAL or a combo of any 2 of these). If you look at the Ideal Price Book you will find each Manufacturer has its own Tab(workbook) found across the bottom of spreadsheet. "SERIES" would be the Collection name. "Wholesale" price is our "COST CUT" found in column V. There will be further instruction if you need it, once you have the job. Please email me with your hourly rate. I look forward to working with you. Ginger Desired Skills: Admin Assistant, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel Keywords: Data Entry, Data, Entry, Assistant, Microsoft, Excel, Admin
