Web Developer Location: Durham NC Duration: 6 months+ Position: This is a production support developer role for a company in the healthcare industry. The candidate will be primarily working on the member services portal and other front end application support (rate quote, buy online, producer portal.) This will include break/fix and enhancement requests for existing applications. Also, will be supporting mobile optimized web pages for marketing campaigns and smaller scale projects. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Skills: Must have extensive JavaScript and specifically, JQuery experience. JQuery needs to be with AJAX and JSON support via SOA. JQuery data-driven display experience. Must have solid Object Oriented concept knowledge*either from another language or using JavaScript framework(s) (Backbone.js would be a huge plus) Must have some knowledge of a LAMP stack, specifically PHP. Expert level not required, but would be helpful. Java/J2EE environment familiarity would be helpful but not required JQuery Mobile would be helpful but is not a requirement.
