Systems Integration Test Lead / Architect, NY Brooklyn, NY Role: Systems Integration Test Lead / Architect Assignment name: Emergency Communications Transformation Program (ECTP) Systems Integration Test Lead / Architect Work Location: Brooklyn, NY 11201 Scheduled Work Hours: Full Time - 9 to 6 - 40hrs/wk Estimated Time: 2136 hours(s) SCOPE OF SERVICES: Develop program-wide software system test plans and specifications for a test environment supporting all levels of test. Provide the program Delivery and Solutions teams with guidance on system pre-requisite activities, work products, and deliverables required for a successful test program including documenting functional and non-functional requirements and the ability to correlate test scripts to requirements. Execute test plans, report results and provide program with recommendations. Participate in the automation of test and automatic regression test procedures. Develop test programs for each component and for certain mission threads. Test programs use of standardized inputs and expected standard outputs to verify proper functioning of each component. Acquisition tests - provide guidance on the structuring and documentation of the system that facilitates a plug- and-play approach to introduction and test of COTS products. Network connectivity and throughput test – document the network including network nodes, links, and basic information about both. System connectivity, response, and configuration testing – document system configuration, connectivity, and response time information and then test each system. Functional/Integration testing – take a scenario driven approach to documenting requirement and testing. System and Component testing – component testing, also known as unit testing, tests each component standalone (on the bench) before any other tests are performed and before a component goes into production. Support the program and Systems Integrator in performing a system and gap assessment. Support the program and Systems Integrator in identifying and documenting activities to be performed by the SI with a breakdown of activities into well-defined tasks. Using the prescribed methodology (activities, tasks, and methods), support the Systems Integrator in the development, recording, and delivery of mission threads, operational and system requirements, system design (including documentation, diagrams and repository), the system development and test environment, a configuration management database, and tools that support these methods. Review and make recommendations on the proposed management system for managing the program including options for structuring and phasing the program and document where in the structure the system design and engineering activities should be performed. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: At least 8 years of senior level experience in Developing and Executing Test plans Extensive senior level experience in documenting requirements Experience utilizing QA Methodologies
