Contract Position Description Position 031-2012: Quality Assurance / Performance Testing (2 openings) Start Date: ASAP Brief Description Of Assignment: Verify that application changes are functioning correctly before installation to production. This will be done by performing quality assurance testing and performance testing using test scripts and the tools listed below. Must be skilled in all phases of the software development methodology including requirements documentation, participation in required reviews, functional and non functional testing. Personal Skills Required: Excellent communication and coordination ability Ability to solicit cooperation from developers and encourage their acceptance of a Quality process Ability to ensure maintenance of a consistent Quality software product in production Excellent communication skills Ability to self manage work to meet committed deadlines with minimal supervision Technical Skills Required: Significant and practical experience testing web applications in all phases Must have experience designing and running unit, system, performance, integration and acceptance tests Experience in using the following toolsets within a corporate environment: HP LoadRunner HP Quality Center Quick Test Pro Experience in automating test scripts using Quick Test Pro and integration with Quality Center Provide training and documentation of "Best Practices" in software testing procedures Additional Skills/Qualities not required but would be a plus: Experience as a Java/Oracle developer to appreciate the environment in which we operate and some of the unique challenges faced by the developers Familiarity with using Clearcase/Clearquest Familiarity with using HP ServiceCenter software Evidence of innovative ideas for improved testing processes in previous positions Andrew 412-583-0945 Andrew.gualtieri@idi-net.com
