Converting Joomla 1.0 to 1.5 Component

We have an old component from the joomla 1.0 version called - ContentPlus. It added a new menu item to your views in joomla, very nice component. It hasn't been updated yet to the new 1.5 native version yet and was wondering how hard it would be to update. I do some coding but a little - not as much as it would take to convert this component over. Please only serious people reply and no generic postings, those will just be deleted. THANK YOU!!!
