Hello Partners, Role: Data Architect Location: Houston, TX, United States Duration: 6+ Months Application Systems Integration and Skills: Designs, develops, implements and supports solutions using technologies such as SQL Server, Engine (T-SQL), SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), and/or SQL Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Management Studio SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Visual Studio Team System for Database Professionals to demonstrate knowledge of the Microsoft Database and Development Platform Can articulate definition, application design/construction patterns of business intelligence (BI) solutions Can articulate the data analysis and design using Microsoft server and application services platforms and supporting products Articulates comprehensive design patterns based on thorough understanding of Jupiter data integration principles Can articulate common data warehouse strategies including Kimball and Inmon. Designs conceptual, logical and physical data architecture diagrams using common modeling tools (e.g. Erwin, etc.) Mitigates risks associated with data duplication and replication Facilitates resolution of any source system data issues identified Performs data mapping from the source systems through to the service interface Helps to define data required to execute system tests Participates in the execution of system testing and user acceptance testing – addressing and rectifying problems encountered Understands the key differences between the data integration and traditional data warehousing. Can explain the following principles: Open Platforms (e.g. web services, loosely coupled) Standard Communication Protocols (e.g. XML, TCP/IP, HTTP) Standard data definitions (e.g. PPDM, PRODML) Service Oriented Architecture Identifies potential artifacts for nomination
