This project is for our Jersey City, New Jersey client's Fund Accounting Team. The selected Senior Web Developer will be establishing standards and working with BAs to develop the user interface. The prototypes have already been built - so the Developer will be doing tweaks and enhancements based off the user experience. THIS IS NOT A HEADS-DOWN CODER position - this person must be a communicator and solution provider. The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * Must have strong programming skills in JavaScript, Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, JSF, XSLT, and XML * Must have experience in programming web based User Interfaces * Experience in Struts and Spring * Good understanding of UI design patterns (Value List, Action Command, etc.) * Minimum 8 years of software development experience in Java * The Developer should be able to understand the Activity Diagrams, Screen Designs; data definitions and code for screens * Mentor Junior Developers on UI Coding practices * Set-up UI coding standards (error handling, code structuring, etc.) * Perform Code Reviews and evaluate tools for code review automation * Must be a problem solver
