Cambridge Street Child Care Centre requires an early childhood teacher to commence our kindergarten programme this year. Applicants must hold an approved 3 or 4 year early childhood degree for kindergarten teaching and must be able, upon application, obtain approval as a kindergarten teacher for kindergarten funding. Teacher registration may be required in some instances to satisfy the criteria for approval. The applicant must also hold or be successful in obtaining a blue card. The current position is for a total of 37.50 hours per week. Experience necessary and industry references are required. The Centre already has approval for kindergarten funding, the programme will commence this year. Wages are paid under the Teacher's Award and are based on qualifications and years of experience. The Centre has many long term staff and is privately owned by experienced long term owners. Professional development for staff is encouraged and financially supported. The Centre caters for children from 6 months to school age children. Applicants must have Australian residency or citizenship.
