The initial project requires a highly creative individual to assist the business in creating the business processes, defining solution alternatives, and designing front end user interfaces with the business user and process in mind. The primary focus of this role is development in the HR module with some knowledge of MSS/ESS, Document Management, BI, ABAP Webdynpro, and interfaces to various 3rd party software packages. Responsible for working with all Functional Teams to design the processes, prepare the functional and ABAP technical specifications used for development. This position will also assist the Project Management team in developing deliverables in all phases of the project and provide mentoring/training to less experienced project team members. Key Work Performed Analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of Workflow, Abap, and Abap Webdynpro programs. Creating. Modifying and adhering to Scotts Standard functional and ABAP technical specifications Responsible for following Scotts PMO methodology for all Project Development Methodology for best development practices. Evaluate vendor supplied software packages and make recommendations to IT Management. Install, implement and test new SAP software upgrades. Diagnose, isolates and de-bugs SAP software problems and performs problem resolution. Develop project deliverables and assist the business and technical teams with adoption of business and support processes. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience 6 years of total IT work experience in systems administration and programming. 4 years of SAP ABAP programming user -exits, interfaces, SAPscript, Smartforms, Adobe Forms, RFC, EDI Java programming in core modules such as MM, FI, CO and SD, LE, PP and PLM. Prefer experience in SAP ECC version 6.0. 4 years experience with SAP Workflow Management 4 years experience working with conversion tools such as BDC/LSMW and other tools. 4 years experience working with enhancement framework and classic BADI's. 4 years experience working with ALV reports and classic/interactive reports. Experience with ABAP Web Dynpro and Net Weaver, Screen module programming Experience in the area of Basis, BI, DMS and Portal would be an added advantage. Experience with UNIX operating system would be an added advantage. Experience managing at least two SAP projects through full life cycle. Knowledge SAP ABAP, Workflow Management, WebForms, and Enterprise Service Oriented Architecture. Some knowledge of ABAP Webdynpro and Netweaver. Some knowledge on Basis, Portal and BI. Modifies, installs and prepares technical documentation for system software applications. Skills &Abilities Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express the rationale for selecting the best alternative to complete a task. Strong perseverance abilities in the face of challenges and an ability to deal with conflicts constructively. Ability to work in a team/cross functional environment.
