Our Media and Online Gaming client are seeking a Junior Business Insight Analyst to work on a contract initially for three months at their site based in Leeds. The successful candidate will join an experienced team responsible for providing the Business Insight Analysis for the organisation's variety of marketing campaigns and product insight across their sports and online gaming products and services. Suitable candidates will have a Mathematics or Numerate degree, an excellent attitude to their work and a clear drive to succeed. Day to day responsibilities will include; * Analysis of acquisition and existing customer marketing across sports and online gaming products and services with particular focus on payback and efficiency improvements. * Insight and analysis of free to play online games * Using Web Analytics (Omniture) to drive new actionable insight across the whole business, including working with the customer experience team. * Working on the development of quantitative and qualitative research briefs with third parties, deriving insight from the results of research activities, and setting up new in-house surveys. * Working on reporting developments and improvements to serve business needs. * Deriving methodologies to track the payback and efficiency of our social media, social gaming and PR activity. * Involvement with other areas of the business as required. Suitable candidates will be able to positively demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience; * A Mathematics or numerate degree * Competent use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access * SQL coding (desirable) * Experience of research methodologies and agencies (beneficial) * Web Analytics such as Omniture (beneficial) * Statistical modelling, e.g. SAS or SPSS (beneficial) * Previous experience of Business Insight / Analytics (beneficial) * Willingness to learn and continuously improve In the first instance please send your CV , only suitable candidates will be contacted directly.
