Mobile Development Lead - Contractor Woodcliff Lake, NJ For our direct client inNorthernNJwe seek an experienced software development lead with considerable mobile application development experience, i.e. iPhone and/or Android application development. This is a hands-on lead position who will lead mobile application projects for use by the clients employees and external clients worldwide. Long-term (1 year +) contract opportunity. Immediate interview and Hire! Job Profile: The Mobile Application Development Lead will oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) for Global Marketing mobile business applications. This role requires management of on-site and off-shore developer resources in accordance with the client's software development standards and processes, and includes: review of functional requirements to create technical design, programming, and quality assurance. You will work with with various internal teams including the Product Management team, Business Analysts, Architecture, Engineering, QA, and Support and external vendors to meet business requirements as defined by Global Digital Marketing by delivering quality mobile solutions. Responsibilities: : Manage the entire SDLC for mobile applications, including technical design, hardware/software compatibility, programming, development and quality assurance : Manage third-party and internal application development staff on active projects of varying complexity from conception through project completion : Work with Enterprise Architect on application design frameworks and reusable components for use in mobile applications : Lead technical design efforts for mobile applications and develop custom code as needed to assist developers : Document, implement, and monitor standard processes and procedures for development and testing as defined by the organization Skills/Qualifications: : 7-10+ years of overall software/application development, : Expert-level skills with software development platforms, including: mobile software development platforms, such as iOS and/or Android, mobile simulators, and Web-based software development, such as ASP.NET with Visual Studio : Extensive hands-on development experience with OOP, Objective-C, iOS (iPhone and iPad), C#, HTML5, Java Script, jQuery Mobile, XML, Perl, and : : : : : Web services.
