POSITION : Senior Java Developer LOCATION : Washington, DC DURATION : Long Term Our Client is seeking a senior developer for the Knowledge Solutions team with High Level Design, Object and Data Modeling Experience. Ability to produce High Level Design and Solution Architecture documents – Object, Data models, Sequence diagrams etc.. Ability to build solution design for complex solutions Ability to do high level framework and OO development using J2EE with proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, Drools and Spring Security. Ability to learn new languages like Ruby on Rails and produce prototypes Proven ability to build and consume SOAP and REST based web services integrating with enterprise systems like People Soft and SAP Good knowledge of XML – Parsing, XPATH/XQUERY etc. Ability to multi-task projects Excellent oral, written and analytical skills Excellent inter-personal and communication skills Responsibilities: The Senior developer is expected to work closely with IMTSI technical staff and support them in a number of ongoing projects. The key tasks are High level design and solution architecture Doing quick proof of concept and framework development in J2EE / .NET Willingness to learn and work with agile development technology like Ruby on Rails Some experience with iterative mode of development will be useful.
